Wall Space Gallery is pleased to present a curated selection of new works by Canadian artist Stewart Jones.

Stewart Jones' work deepens his exploration of the overlooked spaces within the urban landscape those quiet liminal moments that often slip past unnoticed. Known for his distinctive use of light shadow and negative space Jones invites viewers to engage with the emotional resonance of place. These new paintings push further into abstraction and mood offering scenes that feel both grounded and dreamlike.

Unusual perspectives sharp geometry and fleeting afternoon light create compositions that are instantly familiar yet charged with new tension and stillness. In his new body of works Jones continues to capture the spirit of the city not through its landmarks but through the forgotten alleys edges and shadows that define our everyday experience. We invite you to create your own stories from these in-between spaces.

Stewart Jones holds a 4 Yr. Associate Diploma in Drawing & Painting from the Ontario College of Art Toronto (1995) and graduated from Sheridan College’s Classical Animation program Oakville (2001). Jones is an active founding member of The Canadian Art Collective and City Field North Shore painting collectives and his work can be found in several corporate collections nationwide. He has been an instructor at the Baxter Arts Centre Bloomfield ON since 2019.
